Darth Vader and Jesus

Many people see Darth Vader as Dark Lord of the sith, which is true. But few people see he actually has some in common with Jesus Christ

First of course I have to mention there are some obvious differences, such as Anakin Skywalker "Darth Vader" Was NOT a Perfect man like Jesus, he sinned just as any other human would. Also, Christ did not have children like Anakin Did.

Now for the Similarities.

1. Anakin was born without a father, only from a sith lord inception.

2. Anakin was foretold to be the one that "brings balance to the force", similar to Jesus being the one to save our Souls.

Now the Story...

We will start at the end, in episode 6, in the all too familiar Death Star II. Luke right now is being electrocuted by Darth Sidius. Shortly after, Darth Vader Comes in and picks him up and throws him into a large hole. Now what does this have to do with Christ? Think about it.
Pretend Darth Sidius is Sin and the human race is Luke. Sin was killing us, and we were just about to die from the overwhelming lightning of sin. What happens next? Pretend now that Darth Vader is Jesus, I know it’s odd but stay with me... What does Darth Vader do? He picks up Sidius, and throws him overboard.

Darth Vader made a sacrifice for his son Luke; his Robotic pieces could not withstand the high voltage of the lightning, so Darth Vader Died with Darth Sidius. In Comparison to Darth Vader, Jesus Died on the Cross, dying with the Sin that used to be electrocuting us, and finished Satan Forever. It’s not over however...

In the End of Episode 6, we see Young Anakin Skywalker, Darth Vader, As a Ghost! Just like Vader, Jesus Also was raised from the dead, appearing to the disciples soon after and then went up to heaven.

You may have a question like this: when did Darth Vader take the sin like Jesus Did? well I believe it was when Anakin turned into Darth Vader, because inside he was starting to die all along until he finally died at the death star, Just as Jesus was Tortured on the cross with the Crown of Thorns and lashes, until he finally Died on the Cross for us.

  1. Hm, this is very thought-provoking. You seem to have done your research :)

However, for a sacrifice to really mean anything, shouldn't the sacrificed be completely unblemished? Darth Vader, Anakin, etc. :P, had turned to the dark side; and who knows how many sins he committed in the 20 years we know nothing about.

But other than that... well founded post! This is intriguing...

  2. yes you are right Tessa, no one other than Jesus was perfect enough for a sacrifice of that magnitude, but consider this...

Remember when Anakin didn't want to leave his mother to be a Jedi, and she said it was his destiny to become one? How about relating this to Jesus, when he was asking God if there was any other way to save mankind of their sin, and God said there was none? so then as soon as Anakin became a Jedi, he was sacrificing himself by taking on the responsibility of a Jedi, leaving his mother behind, just as Jesus took on his responsibility as being our savior, leaving his father temporarily and drinking the cup of sin. just something to consider. :)

  3. I totally agree with this blog; this is amazing research. Of course NOBODY can compare to Christ, but it IS what lucas was going for. Lucas is a major insider of the occult and I think you hit the nail on the head here. He couldnt make it too obvious, but the similarities are there, and most importantly the reason this was done was to make Christ the "bad guy" and to have millions of Christians unknowingly rooting for satan, which was luke skywalker in this film. Call me crazy if you want. I wont do all the work for you but who was it that Jabba the Hut wanted to throw into a PIT FOR A THOUSAND YEARS??? luke skywalker folks.

  6. very similar, without a father, they caused much hatred and pain especially to their own people betraying the Jedi and the Jews, they thought they were elect, but at least Vader assumed his paternity!
